1990 First Round Game 5: New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics
The Sleeping Giant In The West

Shake ‘em up, break ‘em, and slam ‘em like dominoes
- Big Krit (Return Of 4Eva)
Pretty much, Big K.R.I.T described the western conference this season. You got the shake ups this offseason ( LAC, DAL), break ups ( LAL), and now, we’re seeing them battle it out for supremacy. Going into the season, it was consistency, and youth that was the catalyst for a good season. Oklahoma City is proving that logic to reign true, leading the NBA in wins through the first 30 games. The San Antonio Spurs defied this logic, putting pieces around aging stars such as Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, resulting in the second best record out West, and a current nine game winning streak, the best in the NBA this season. After that, the West is pretty much a monster mash.
